El perfume
Allá por los días de gloria de los lobos de mar salados, los marineros usaban tinturas de ron de bahía de las Indias Occidentales y especias como desinfectantes, fragancias, desodorantes y lociones para después del afeitado. Con el tiempo, muchas casas famosas de fragancias y afeitado adoptaron la costumbre y ofrecieron sus propias versiones del aroma clásico, que resultó ser muy popular también entre los barberos.
Barrister and Mann® se enorgullece de ofrecer nuestra propia versión de un Bay Rum clásico. Al prescindir de la costumbre moderna de utilizar grandes cantidades de clavo, mezclamos ron negro real con bahía de las Indias Occidentales, naranja dulce, canela y benjuí (una resina similar a la vainilla). Nuestro Bay Rum es un clásico cálido y masculino, un pedazo de historia y uno de los favoritos para el invierno, pero se adapta bien a cualquier época del año.

El jabon
A veces no hay nada tan reconfortante como un buen jabón en barra a la antigua. Por lo tanto, estamos encantados de presentar nuestra nueva barra de jabón vegetal, elaborado con aceite de palma de origen certificado, aceite de orujo de oliva y aceite de aguacate de origen responsable, manteca de cupuaçu humectante y leche de cabra en polvo para obtener un jabón nutritivo e hidratante ideal para en cualquier época del año, pero especialmente durante los meses más fríos y secos.

This Bay Rum bar soap receives mostly positive feedback. Customers praised its "authentic and long lasting" scent with spicy, citrus, and vanilla notes, plus luxurious lather. Many called it "the best bay rum in the market." However, some found it overpriced or single-note cinnamon. The firm bars are large and don't melt quickly, though they're hydrating for skin.

This one came across as a single-note cinnamon scent to me. I was expecting a more complex and interesting scent. A miss for me.
I really love this scent! I have the shave soap, the aftershave balm, and now the bar soap. It’s such a pleasant warming smell: spicy, citrus, vanilla notes. I get very dry skin in the winter, so a hydrating soap perfect for the winter.
Got everything i ordered. I have only tried one of the soaps and it is excellent. Large size and great scent. (SPICE)

Overpriced for what you’re getting. It’s advertised as bay rum fragrance but to me the soap simply smells like dust, On the plus side, the bars are firm with a hard edge, which I prefer because I use soap in the shower to massage tight muscles.
This is a very fine bay room which can hold water against the finest in the market
I've been on a deep dive into Bay Rum soaps and Barrister & Mann's is the best. The scent is authentic and long lasting, the soap is luxurious and frothy. It takes a minute or two to go from its unused state, which is very hard, to its regular state which is soft and, obviously, soapy. At first I wondered if something was wrong, but as soon as it had absorbed enough moisture it quickly eclipsed all my previous soaps.
I haven't looked into B&M's ingredients but they sure smell authentic and natural. Also, this seems like it's just one guy, Will, who actually answers emails. Maybe that shouldn't factor into a review of the product, but I was impressed.

Just the right amount of scent, not overwhelming
Really enjoying this scent, definitely a different take on Bay Rum but stands apart for that reason. Will have to try out the shave soap and aftershave now too

Autumn time is usually BayRum time for me and this one is one of the best in thr market. Having it as a bar soap makes my morning shower/shave routine a pleasure.

One of my favorite bay rum scents. Not overly clove forward as others I have used. Perfect summer soap for me.
I use this specifically for my body & it's great. Smells awesome & It doesn't dehydrate my skin after. My favorite scent is from Wet Shaving Products Blackbeard, but they don't offer it in a soap. This is right next to it in terms of my alternative go to now! I wonder what this would smell like with a touch of peppermint or touch of menthol to it. Not too much though!
I've been using Barrister and Mann shave soaps for awhile and bought some bar soaps after trying Dr Squatch. The price is great for a hand crafted product and it doesn't seem to melt away in the shower like the other soap I tried. The scent is great and goes well with the Bay Rum Shave soap! I'll be purchasing more for sure!

This soap met all of my expectations. When I first started shaving the Barrister and Mann Bay Rum shaving soap was what I used. I have a beard now but I wanted that experience and now I can use it in the shower and it’s perfect. The best bay rum scent in the market and the old world ingredients make an amazingly clean and refreshing soap.
Works great as a body wash. First time I've ever used bar soap for this, other than when hotels provide. I may be officially converted! Plus my fiance approves, which is all that really matters.
