Arrr! Avast! Our classic Bay Rum aftershave has the rumbly burn and citrusy goodness of the greats, and pairs with our Bay Rum shaving soap to boot! A splash of real black strap rum, along with the smooth vanilla scent of benzoin and a dash of cinnamon, make it the perfect accompaniment to West Indie Bay and sweet orange top notes.

Shake aftershave into your palm (we recommend an amount about the side of a quarter) and rub them together for 3 seconds. Rub your palms over your freshly shaven skin. There may be a mild sting upon initial application, but your face is about to look, feel, and smell awesome. We know you can handle it.

Not For Me

Great vendor. Liked everything about ordering, but this scent is not for me. Did not smell like traditional bay rum to me. You may like it though. Long lasting scent.

Good Bay Rum scent

Great scent! Reminiscent of Old Spice, but much softer and without the sharp chemical smell. Strong enough to be noticeable within a couple of feet for an hour or so, but it's not at the middle school cologne level where people in the next county are asking themselves, "What IS that smell?"

B&M Bay Rum Splash---A Firm Favorite

This is one of my top B&M fragrances in the splash (also the balm), applied either after a periodic "old-school/indulgent" wet-shave (for which B&M shaving soap is used) or on any other given day---even on unshaved, freshly exfoliated skin it provides a healthy/clean "tingle" along with a subtle "modern" twist on classic Bay Rum which feels great to wear.

Nice scent - short-lived

A nice scent, but it doesn't last very long. An hour or so, at most.

Hi Michael! Increasing the strength of our aftershaves to levels whereby you could smell them for multiple hours would be categorically unsafe, but we'd be happy to make some fragrance recommendations for colognes that will complement Bay Rum. Thank you!

Great soap, great scent

Performance of the omnibus base is out of this world. This is the best bay rum scent on the market, a true masculine bay rum without a bombardment of clove.

More like Rum Bay.

I smell citrus and gun powder; in a good way. Then it dries down to mahogany spice and warm orange. Barrister and Mann have a great version of this darned good, and classic, scent. Girlfriend likes it, too.

Great scent, low staying power.

The staying power left me wanting a bit. But the scent is great, left my face feeling great too. But it did feel like the scent evaporated within 30 minutes or so.

I'd still probably buy it again though.

Bay Rum

B&M Bay Rum aftershave has a nice spicy fragrance that makes me think of what it would of been like to be Captain Jack Sparrow aboard the Black Pearl :) It does match perfectly with their shave soap and is perfect for a day at the beach or being outdoors.

One unfortunate morning...

My wife will sometimes hover in the morning, while I’m trying to shave (she gets a kick out of it or something...). One morning, she noticed that I had a particularly rough shave. I have pretty sensitive skin and often go a little aggressive on my shaves. About 3-5 minutes after applying this fantastic aftershave, all razor irritation was completely gone. My wife now thinks that this particular aftershave is magic (or at least, a miracle worker if it gets her husband to look a little more presentable). She also thinks it’s my signature scent. Like a lot of folks here, I love a great bay rum scent, and this one is magnificent.

Long Lasting Scent

A great scent. A great spicy smell. Long lasting as well. I could still smell it after a couple of hours (emphasized by the mask I was wearing [yay COVID-19]). Picked this up along with the same scented shaving soap. Will purchase again when I run low.

Bay Rum Aftershave

This is my first aftershave (typically use balm) since switching to wet shaving 12 years ago. This is light, refreshing and the hypontic scent lingers throughout the morning hours. Love this stuff.

My search is over...

I've tried so many different Bay Rums in search of one with a great scent and decent longevity. Barrister and Mann Bay Rum has both in abundance. Well done and thank you. After ordering a bottle and realizing this is what I'd been looking for, I ordered two more. It's just that good. Had to get the Shave soap also.
